    又是一年一度赏樱的季节,无论是堤岸边还是河下的小船上都聚集了前来赏樱的群众。广重设计了一个由河面斜向上仰望的视角,前后错落有致的小船、河边的树林,稍缓的斜坡再到堤岸边的樱花树,空间由近往外逐渐开阔起来。此外,这幅画有许多技法上的细节也值得我们细细品味,譬如河面渐变的蓝色和左下方船夫身上紫色渐变色的和服,非常优美。

    Boaters enjoy viewing the cherry blossoms along the Sumida River in Edo. This design shows a wonderful perspective looking down the river, and has many nice details, such as the “bokashi” – or gradation of pigment – in the purple kimono of the boatman on the lower left.
